David Kaminski Named Vice Director of SWANA Division

QED Environmental Systems is proud to announce that our own David Kaminski has been chosen to be the Vice Director of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Landfill Gas and Biogas Technical Division.

Kaminski is Senior Vice President of QED and is a frequent presenter on landfill leachate and groundwater pumping technology to industry organizations, universities, and regulatory agencies worldwide. He is also an instructor for the Princeton Groundwater Pollution & Hydrology course (www.princeton-groundwater.com), and has been awarded four patents for devices allowing new groundwater sampling practices.

Over the past 30 years, he has designed and installed landfill leachate/condensate pumping and gas management systems at sites throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and South America. He has presented papers and workshops on landfill pump selection and LFG dewatering systems at dozens of conferences, seminars and short courses, and frequently shares his considerable knowledge on these subjects via webinars presented by QED and TestAmerica.

With his unique background and experience, we are confident that Dave will have a positive impact on SWANA’s efforts to advance the state of the art in landfill and biogas management. MSW_bug_web
